Take a Seat: The Planning Department has outfitted the east Riverwalk with bright orange Adirondack chairs for your sitting pleasure. Take a seat, and enjoy!
Walk Providence: Keep an eye out for small green and white signs as you're making your way around the City this summer. Each sign posts walking distances and directions to some of Providence's best views and locations!
Remix de Muchachos: In early November 2014, two, three-sided, life-size, photo-collage images will be installed in Trinity Square, at the intersection of Elmwood Avenue and Broad Street. Designed by The Steel Yard and AS220's youth arts program, in coordination with residents of the Rhode Island Training School, the collages feature the cultural heritage and diversity of the program participants, as well as that of the Capital City.
Thayer Street Parklet: The Thayer Street District Management Authority will install and maintain a 'parklet' on Thayer Street in early September 2014. The parklet, which repurposes an on-street parking space into a public space for people, will be accessible to all members of the public, and feature seating, tables and plantings.
