Mayor Taveras, PEMA Remind City Residents of Cooling Measures in Anticipation of Extreme Heat

With the National Weather Service predicting dangerous heat today and Wednesday, Mayor Angel Taveras and Providence Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) Director Peter Gaynor are reminding residents of options that city residents may take to stay safe and cool this week.

Cooling Centers
PEMA has identified locations that can be utilized as cooling centers:
