City Tax Assessor's Office
The Tax Assessor functions under the direction of the Finance Director. This office exercises power relative to the assessment of municipal taxes as well as maintaining records on these assessments. The Tax Assessor works in conjunction with the Board of Tax Assessment Review, which considers appeals submitted to it by taxpayers wishing to appeal their assessments. The Assessor also supervises the activities relative to tax revaluation.
